Coco & Honey started after the founder created several body care items for herself. These items left her sensitive skin feeling clean, smooth, and moisturized. Even better, they did so without the addition of drying ingredients. She had searched through many different brands of products before realizing that there was a need for gentle, nourishing bath & body products. People with sensitive skin have a particular demand for such products. She decided to create products that are not irritating to those of us with sensitive skin. She made a few body butters and lotion bars, and the benefits they provided to her skin pleased her. It was then that Coco + Honey became a reality. This company has joined the ranks of the Black-owned skincare brands on the market that work well for sensitive skin.
Coco Luv is a family owned and operated cookie bakery in Los Angeles, CA. The idea of Coco Luv started when our founders had to come up with a sweet treat alternative for their brother who is autistic. The goal was to come up with his favorite cookies made without any preservatives, dairy, egg, soy, and refined sugar free. With his dietary restrictions they wanted him to still be able to enjoy his favorite cookies. They made their first batch September 2017 and the rest is history. They continued to make hundreds of cookies for friends and family across the US. With overwhelming LUV and support they decided to share Coco Luv with the world. We offer gourmet quality hand sculpted vegan cookies that taste homemade, are made with LUV, and we only use REAL ingredients.
Ponytails or puffs. Braids or twists. No matter how they wear their hair - our goal at Coco’Pie Clothing is to show black girls how beautiful they are by placing their awesomeness front and center on our shirts! As a family run apparel company, we understand how much representation matters and want it to be normal for black girls to see images of themselves in a positive way, every day. Today we have a full line of onesies, tees, and sweatshirts for children and women in a variety of sizes, that amplify the essence of black culture. All of our clothing items are made with soft, super comfy, and high quality fabric that have a great fit. They also hold up well in the wash, so your favorite Coco’Pie can wear her shirt over and over again! We also have fun accessories, such as earrings and tote bags, too! Our brand is a celebration of what it means to be black and beautiful - a lesson that has to start early. Our customers shop with us because they enjoy having a cute and creative way to reinforce the messages of self-love they’re already teaching their children at home. In the years since we began, we’ve also become a platform to encourage families to embrace kidpreneurship and economic empowerment - issues that are important to our founder. We invite you to spend some time on the site to learn more about the exciting things happening with us. After you find something perfect for the Coco’Pie in your life, make sure to share it with us on Instagram for a chance to be featured! We love seeing little brown girls shouting out loud, “There’s power in these puffs!”

Cocoa Belle Chocolates creates handcrafted artisan products inspired by Southern desserts for a nostalgic taste. This Black-owned company, founded by African-American business owner Carmen Portillo, creates delicious artisan truffles. While in Europe, Portillo traveled to Paris, France, and caught the chocolate fever! When she returned home to Little Rock over a year later, she longed for that experience again. She researched ways to learn the trade. Portillo has gathered techniques from world-renowned chefs. She studied at the Notter School for Confectionary and Chocolate Arts in Orlando, and she also has a certificate from Ecole Chocolat Professional Chocolate Arts. Portillo is the first and only Certified Professional Chocolatier in Arkansas. Her wish is “to marry my classically trained European chocolate making skills with my Southern roots.”
