We believe in beauty sharing, not beauty secrets. We believe that through sharing our beauty rituals and beauty regimen we can connect and come together. Mira’s Hand is a range of Moroccan beauty products used for your daily regimen or for the once weekly hammam ritual. We are Australian based, but with roots in Morocco. I moved countries twice, first as a child from Morocco to the Netherlands. My mother would stock up on Moroccan black soaps and her floral waters and all her herbs and spices on our annual trip to Morocco. As there were no Hammams in the Netherlands back in the seventies. My mom would on Sundays recreate the hammam at home. She would spend the early afternoon scrub and massage all us children down. In the years after and when I grew into adult hood hammams began to appear in the major cities and so the need for ’Sunday hammam at home’ became ‘catching up in the hammam with my friends on Sunday’. Years later when I myself moved to Australia I couldn’t find any hammams myself. And so I would stock up every year on products in Morocco or had them send to me by my mother and recreate my own hammam at home on Sundays. My new friends would comment on my skin and I for the life of me, I couldn’t understand why not more women or men for that matter would exfoliate their bodies the Moroccan way. I started sharing my products with my new pals and Mira’s Hand was born not long after. My earliest memories of the hammam are those I shared with my grandmother Mira who instilled the importance of the weekly ritual and taught me the rituals, massage techniques and her beauty recipes. In Morocco, a good ‘hand’ indicates that someone is talented. Mira was very talented in many fields, she was an amazing cook, a story teller and she was a feisty and very confident woman. So we decided to call the brand MIRA’S HAND after her.

Moonbeam Body Therapy is an earth-conscious self care/ mental + physical maintenance company based in Houston, Texas. Started in her grandmother’s kitchen in the historic Acres Homes, Mariel Thomas (a middle school STEM educator and all-around creative) initially began this journey creating soap as a form of self care to decompress from her day job. With the support of family and friends, Moonbeam Body Therapy was born the summer of 2017 and has continued to grow and expand. Focusing on natural, environmentally-friendly products that are cruelty-free, Moonbeam Body Therapy is for the Earth-conscious person that believes that treating ourselves doesn't have to mean mistreating our planet. Natural Ash is created and formulated by our founder, Ashley Cummings, RN. Each batch of body butter is handmade in Harlem with only natural ingredients. Working as an Oncology Registered Nurse and learning about the chemicals found in beauty products that can lead to cancer, I started to pay attention to the ingredients in my skincare products. As a result, I started to experiment with natural body butters sourced from Africa, as well as different oils. I wanted to know what I was putting on my skin for hydration, as the product will then go into my body. As a nurse, I naturally want those around me to take care of their bodies and skin. Nuni Products was birthed between 2012 and 2013 by two sisters De'Jah and JuLonnah who were 14 and 12 at the time. They started Nuni Products for multiple reasons seeing as they themselves suffered with the ongoing battle of fighting acne, eczema, dry skin and very sensitive skin. Nuni Products was created to innovate new solutions to their skins needs, while staying honest and staying true to the two's value/morals.
