UTILITY OBJECTS IS AN ATLANTA BASED POTTERY DESIGN STUDIO. Since 2018, Aleisha Ellis has been designing and making a line of minimal ceramic tableware. These objects draw inspiration from modern works of Japanese ceramics resulting in pieces that highlight functionality and the natural beauty of raw clay. Starting as a hobbyist potter, Aleisha transitioned the brand of Utility Objects in the summer of 2020 into a pottery design studio. She now works full-time as a production potter in hopes to master the craft of pottery. FEATURES -- Her work has been showcased at Swan Coach Gallery in Atlanta and shared amongst publications such as: New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, Ceramic Review London, and West Elm where she has been taken on as an artisan maker.

Domonique is a contemporary pop artist from Pomona, California. She creates energetic portraits that defy traditional pictorial representations. As an illustrator, she works from the ground up, layering markers and acrylic strokes until she carves out a colorful portrait. Domonique’s art is a celebration of diversity. Her portraits showcase men and women of color, so people can see a depiction of their identity and feel empowered.

"Hi! I am Monica, the Founder of Lit Soul Candles! About four years ago, I turned to meditation to heal from the tough situations I was experiencing. I decided to meditate everyday (morning & night) for 30 days. At first it was weird, but after a couple of weeks, lighting my candle and meditating became the the most important part of my day. My thoughts were no longer in control and I rapidly noticed a transformation in my life. It was like magic, and when the 30 days were up I decided to implement it into my daily routine. One of the best decisions I have made! I believe that meditation has the power to transform our lives. Taking that little moment to center ourselves makes all the difference. I believe that my purpose in life is to encourage meditation to everyone, and hopefully to breakdown some of the stigmas surrounding the practice along the way.The crystals inside of our candles serve as an incentive for daily quiet time. Simone Bridges is an award-winning celebrity chef, author, and speaker. As a STREAM and youth advocate, she serves her community and youth all over the world by providing education on topics such as culinary basics, STREAM, and kidpreneurship. Simone shares her passions with others and continues to empower and grow youth STREAM entrepreneurs through her nonprofit organization, Simone Bridges Inspires, Inc. She continues to be the change she wants to see in the world by spreading positivity and creating an impact wherever she goes.

Siaba Tumoe became a first time mum in early 2015. Like many new mothers, her decision to breastfeed didn’t start off as plain sailing. In fact it was a very stressful period. Luckily for her, her mother decided to research foods that aid the production of breast milk and she began to incorporate them into her home cooking. With her new lactogenic diet and plenty of family support, she was able to over came the bumpy start. ?Siaba’s fascination with Lactogenic foods grew the more she researched them and she began making smoothies with the ingredients which were quick and convenient for a busy new mum. When a breastfeeding friend asked to try her smoothies, Siaba obliged. A week later she received a message saying “These smoothies are amazing, all breastfeeding mums should try them!” ?As they say, the rest is history. Our Mission. I started Busayo because of our belief in the power of color to communicate the dynamism, personality and nuances of the individual. Our clothes communicate so much about who we are.
