365 Body Love

Health & Beauty, Bath & Body, Skincare, Beardcare, Other, Home & Garden, Candles, Other, Fashion, Accessories, other, Miscellaneous
Women Owned, Handmade
365 Body Love LLC, is a handcrafted family brand creating all-natural skin care products for your face and body. For us 365 Body Love was birthed after our children who all suffered from seasonal eczema continued to have flareups even with prescription skin creams that were sometimes making matters worse as time went on. They would temporary help, but then things would change as the weather changed leaving their skin dry and itchy. Furthermore, our eldest daughter also suffered from normal teen acne and had begin to resent her skin after failed steroid topical creams and OTC products. So we spent time researching and understanding skin conditions, which are not all one type fits all and started making our own facial scrubs and body butter. Our first product which was a staple was our African Facial Scrub. It begin to pull all her toxins to the surface and leveled her skin out, leaving it clear and smooth from blackheads and severe breakouts. From there I noticed an immediate change in our kids skin as well with the whipped body butter that I included some key oils after care researching and trying recipes. Maybe I was onto something I thought...I just wished we had did this sooner, but it is never too late to make changes even if it is small. The family and I were also intentional in only using what I made. I wanted to know if it was more than just what they ate, but also what they used on their skin, mainly from OTC products which contained ingredients I could never say nor knew what they meant. Months went by...and we are still going strong with no flare ups. Being intentional with our products was helpful to truly understanding our skincare and what worked and did not work. We believe that great skin takes commitment, time and understanding of products.

I’m an illustrator + visual artist born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I’m currently based in Los Angeles but plotting my return home soon. I use illustration and visual art as a tool to strengthen social movements for racial justice, immigrant justice, climate justice, mental health and LGBTQIA+ liberation. I think that in order to tear down harmful systems, we need to be able to envision a world without them. I’m trying to draw what that world looks like.

I love the Word of God. I became a believer at 27, over twenty years ago, and I knew next to nothing about the Bible. But over the past nineteen years, in particular, I’ve studied daily with my colored pencils . . . and coffee. Bible goes well with coffee. I know firsthand the power of the Word to renew and transform, to heal and restore, to convict and strengthen. It does all those things and more in me. Continually. And also in me is this irresistible urge to share the wonder of this amazing truth with others. Which is where my laptop comes in. I can’t remember a time I didn’t write, from notebooks full of poetry and song lyrics as a schoolgirl to briefs to the court as a litigating attorney. But I couldn’t have imagined God calling me to write for Him. I was on maternity leave with my firstborn, praying about the type of home-based business I could start, because I knew the Lord was tugging on my heart to be home with Him. I took a trip to Barnes & Noble, got a book on home-based businesses, and started praying about what product I could bring to the marketplace. Then one day in the middle of church, the Lord spoke clearly to my heart—and completely redirected me. He wasn’t calling me to make widgets. People needed salvation, and He wanted me to write about my spiritual journey.

Garden24

Garden24 began in Spring of 2019, as writer Morgan Harper Nichols began to watch things bloom, professionally and personally. With such a wide response to her daily releases of artwork on Instagram, Morgan sought to create something more permanent. With every month that went by, she released a few new prints and stickers. They hung on walls, were gifted to friends, were planted on water bottles, laptops, and notebooks. And with that, she saw it grow. She added planners to add coffee dates in, sketchbooks to create pieces of art, journals to remember life moments, and mugs to drink coffee together. Garden24 became a garden - of community, gathering, and of art. It lives now as a reminder that when we plant together, we bloom.
