After years of being told to sell my art, I decided to take a leap of faith and create an etsy shop. This new confidence spurred my ability to create an entirely new form of art that I wasn't previously successful in, digital. I am a graphite (pencil!) artist at heart and I find that I tend to get bogged down in the details. I wanted to reinvent myself by creating dynamic, beautiful art for everyone to enjoy. Karin Turner is a fine artist painter who's discovered her purpose in life is to eminate & raise the static of JOY and self acceptance through positive african diasporic female imagery. KarinsArt features a semi-autobiographical character “H2oMelon Girl™” who boasts a crown of exotic natural hair, lives in the moment, and is happy with the curvaceous figure she possesses. In addition to the varied skin tones that reflect the diversity of her ethnic heritage,the ever present H2omelon imagery – is both a silent attempt to reclaim the watermelon & also a metaphor for Life. The h2omelon is an icon that urges the viewer to participate/own her Life. "It’s worthless if you just sit it on the shelf, never knowing all it has to offer: nourishment,historical truths,sweetness, as well as the not-so sweet things that happen in Life." Completed works also examine the combination of brown skin, watermelon, natural hair, voluptuous figures, and how aesthetically uplifting affectations influence women.

I’m KT: a potter, vintage mold caster, and casual mold-maker. I founded Crockery by KT in 2018 because I enjoy making crockery (tableware) and crocks (jars, jugs, and containers). My admiration of folk pottery, the prosed primeval pots of Dave Drake and the primordial work of Cherokee potters (among others), inspire my vessels. The majority of my hand-built work is done in red and brown stoneware and my color palette leans towards earthy and rustic metal tones. In addition to my original work I produce pottery made from vintage and self-made plaster molds and occasionally sell molds from my collection. I also make and sell bisque ceramics that you can paint, yourself, at home. My work would make a lovely addition to your collection!

Hi I'm Yolanda Jamison, sewing became my passion while growing up in Mississippi watching my grandmother. I loved that I could create anything I could imagine and have been sewing for over 25 years. Sewing really soothes my soul. I took a leap of faith 8 years ago, leaving my corporate position to start my own company. Initially I created a kid's clothing line called Itsy Glitsy. I was fortunate enough to have my designs in boutiques from Pacific Palisades, to Sherman Oaks and even Kourtney Kardashian's store Smooch in Calabasas! Eventually as time progressed, I noticed that my daughter's friends were always so fascintated with my sewing studio. A few home classes later, I decided to turn it into a party! Parents love the no fuss of a Sew Contagious party, we do all of the work. Kids love being introduced to a new skill and develop such a sense of pride in creating their one of a kind piece.

An average widowed mom trying to build a movement! Join us! I am a mom, worker bee and average Joette who has a lot of skin sensitivities and my kids have inherited that legacy. After trying various products and wasting lots of money on expensive soaps, lotions, oils etc I decided to study herbology and make my own. My concept is quality ingredients. Innovative packaging and unique ideas. I love history, pop culture and having fun. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our ability to foster our customer base here and on facebook. What Started as a way to provide relief for our family's overly sensitive skin had turned into an incredible line of hand crafted products for the bath, body and home. We've named our company Black Kettle in homage to the "old school" soap makers that came before us, cooking up large batches of soap for their families in large cast iron kettles. Like many soap pioneers we love sharing our small batch creations with our neighbors...only our neighborhood happens to be the whole world. I love that we have been able to help so many families with similar skin and allergy issues along the way. Our customers are the reason that we grow and get better each day.

I have struggled with my soon to be EX BFF acne & blackheads since I was 10 years old when my little red flag came. The red flag brought along hormones which led to a full breakout. I hated taking photos because all you would notice was how awful my face looked. I remember living in New York riding the train, and people would stare at me ALL THE DAMN TIME! Rose water was also a blessing in disguise for my skin & hair. So I had to tie it in as well. My product draws out the impurities from within the skin to the surface.
