Hello, I'm Mia. I am the owner of Angel Love Creations. I love creating nourishing & moisturizing bath and body care products for adults and kids alike. What started out as a hobby and joy for my family and friends has turned into a passion for creating products that are not only beautiful but are good for you. I’ve searched countless stores to find an all natural/organic cream & fragrant ones (just to change it up a little) that smelled great & moisturized my skin without the greasy sticky feeling. However, all of the products I’ve tried lacked nourishment for my skin or smelled dreadful. One day I got so fed up I decided I was going to make it myself. I researched many types of natural ingredients, essential oils & fragrant ones that are in the best creams and noted my favorite scents. Then I went into my kitchen and started creating and mixing ingredients together until I was satisfied with a cream that smelled amazing and was very soft against my skin. I could instantly feel the difference in how the cream moisturized my skin. Though I created these products for myself, my family and friends asked me to make it for them. And before you knew it, I was filling orders and launched my company ~ Underneath The Blush.

I remember one summer I put Vaseline on my legs and I came home smelling like bbq because the sun had cooked me 😩 You get a little older, you’re finding other products that work for you and then you stumble on the Holy Grail. For me, that was Shea butter. At first, it was hobby.. a favor I made for my birthday party. Then I started getting “Hey, can you make some more?” messages and I’m like “You can literally do this yourself.” I didn’t even take this serious at first. I happened to meet a random guy who tells me I should do this and here we are. This market is thick and the competition is wild, but I love it. My name is Aprill Lacey I’m a artisan, make up artist and founder of Pin Up Cosmetics. I wear many hats but my greatest achievement is being a Mother to a wonderful son.The idea of Pin Up Cosmetics started in the late 90’s when my son was in kindergarten. As a single Mother at the time I had been working as a retail manager for a high end cosmetic company.My skin was at it’s worst because of the toxic chemicals in their products.I began my search for natural beauty products that were truly natural and suitable for my skin tone. At the time I couldn’t find a product that suited my needs. After much research I started crafting lip care and mineral make up out of my kitchen which turned into Avril Cosmetics. Avril was sold at vintage boutique clothing stores in San Francisco and in Berkeley, CA. I took time off from building the Avril brand to focus on raising my son. In 2007 I reinvented Avril under the name Pin Up Cosmetics. Continuing my love of artisan natural and vegan beauty products while adding my twist of retro glamour. Today Pin Up is available in health food stores, boutiques, salons and specialty stores in the US and Overseas.
