Black people care about each other. That's why I make greeting cards. I started my business after the killing of George Floyd. There were no cards to express how we were feeling as a whole. So I started up my machine and made a few sets for friends. Creative Future Studio has taken off since then. I make cards inclusive of LGBTQ identities and disabilities. I make cards with common Black sayings we use to communicate our love. I make cards, because no matter what the world may think, Black people care about each other.

Clothes designed with curves in mind. Each shirt is cut to accommodate curves and fluff with custom to cut to my size chart with sizes L to 5xl. Each tote has exclusive designs by the talented Kayla Clay. We want our designs to be fun and beautiful so that you can weave them for a night with the girls or to the gym.

PleaseNotes is a line of affirmation-filled goods created to help you become your favorite version of you. The idea for PleaseNotes came when Founder Cheryl Sutherland was in a weird period of transition. She just quit her corporate job and knew she wanted to start something that fulfilled her, however she also knew that her self-confidence wasn’t in the place to support any new ideas that she had. She decided to work on herself through using affirmations, journalling and delving back into her personal growth practice. By reinforcing who she really was and getting clear on who she wanted to be, she realized that it was Personal Development that she had always been in love with. After arriving at this great new place, she wanted to stay focused on moving forward and support others in figuring out what their passion is and helping them overcome obstacles to realize it. That’s when the first product, the PleaseNotes Sticky Note, was created. Since then she has built out the product line to include Guided Journals, Enamel Pins, Water Bottle Labels, Mirror Decals, and Coaching Programs. They have been endorsed by changemakers such as Les Brown and Monique Coleman and have users in over 15 countries including the U.K., Laos, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Canada and The United States. Our signature item is the PleaseNotes Journal. Touted as a "Personal Growth Seminar in between two covers", it's perfect for new or experienced Journaler. Our company idea started two years ago in Colombia mountainside when we had an idea to pursue a dream. Years later that original idea of bringing the highest quality products has intersected with sustainability. Now the Thomas's brothers plan to keep the momentum going in improving everyone's at home experience!

I design guided journals, planners, & digital art for teens and adults to inspire personal growth. Over the years, I realized how low self-image, confidence, or mental challenges affects so many people at every age and stage of life. I focus on creating products that address subjects that are not taught in schools such as self-love, confidence, and self-esteem. Each custom-designed product is intentionally made to address complete mental, physical, or spiritual wellness.

Adia Jamille is one of our unique black-owned companies. Its owner carries the same name. Jamille has been creating from a very young age. It’s the one thing that has always been natural for her. Throughout her lifetime, she has explored various art forms. She tried drawing, painting, etc. The one that speaks most to her soul is fiber arts. Growing up, her mother was an avid quilter, and she also sewed a lot of Jamille’s clothing. These processes were always interesting to Jamille. Still, it wasn’t until college that she found her calling in the fiber arts. Jamille spent hours honing her craft and eventually very good at embroidery, weaving, and screen printing. Later she learned that her enslaved ancestors worked on indigo plantations. The African American business owner now realized why she had such an affinity for the fiber arts. Adia Jamille produces quality home goods, accessories, and gifts in pursuit of her passion.

Its designs appeal to men, women, and children worldwide. The brand uses ethical production practices. It represents bohemian souls who love to explore the world, and who share a respect for authentic cultural contributions. What sets African Hippie apart from other black-owned businesses? Its network of “nomads.” These nomads travel throughout Africa and the rest of the world. They source lifestyle resources that enhance the lives of customers. These resources also protect the planet. Owner Serina Cooper wanted to normalize the indigenous practice of clearing space. She tried to do the same with manifesting light, especially in this time cycle.
