I love to explore my creative side. Whether it's doodling or writing I thoroughly enjoy creating something fun and different! While looking for graphics of black female doctors, I couldn't find any which led me to just draw my own! I'm still learning as I draw and want to showcase fun & funky afro-centric graphics for those who are looking for them as well!

Frenchtoastygood is a one-woman design shop. Your support this past year has allowed me to establish a monthly contribution to one of my favorite victim advocate groups, End the Backlog which works to eliminate the backlog of untested rape kits in the United States: http://www.endthebacklog.org/. My Favorite Murder and others True Crime shows have encouraged the sale of fan art to support victim advocacy groups. I encourage you to take a look at current developments in victim advocacy and see which organization aligns with your interests, passions, and talents.

Women Owned, Free Shipping, Ships Internationally
The Crafted Prints is currently a two-person team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joshua is the Business Manager (a.k.a. logistical mastermind) responsible for maintaining all of the business' back-end duties and Vanessa is the Creative Director and illustrator, managing social media, the website and wholesale accounts. Our goal is to provide you with a curated collection of premium paper goods at an affordable price. Our hope is to create a diverse line of products that will serve a purpose in your life, and bring value to your every day -- whether it be an art print on your wall that brings a bit of extra joy to your space, or a planner that helps you organize your life. We are committed to expanding our line every month. On the 1st and 15th of each month you can come back and find new products that weren't available before. We want to keep our line evergreen for you and your ever-changing decorating/gifting needs. We are committed to remaining responsible and sustainable. All of our products are made in-house, and made to order. We have not and will not: (1) make products in bulk (2) outsource any of our production or (3) purchase products pre-made. By doing everything on-demand, it helps us to reduce and even eliminate waste altogether -- so our supplies are only used when we receive orders. That means we have the privilege of knowing who we're making each item for, and where it will be going -- we think that's pretty special. Finally, all materials are purchased from U.S. and Canadian suppliers and we use recycled products wherever humanly possible.

Nyha Graphics

I open my little shop in 2010 and it is a creative work in process. I work as a book cover designer by day and by night I'm a freelance illustrator for children's products and books. My freelance work funds the running of my Etsy store and my experimental print runs. To say I'm passionate about art and creating stuff is an understatement; I love it so much I allow it to consume me because it makes me extremely happy. I started selling greeting cards and prints at local craft fairs for fun and found it makes other people happy too, now it is my mission to create art for happiness and work which reflects a multicultural diverse world. I have been creative from a very young age and committed to developing my artistic talents and style in illustration, design and typography. My style is bright, colourful, fun and whimsical illustrations. As a designer, illustrator and self-diagnosed "stationery addict", I like to see high quality printed products so I use a local professional printer, which is FSC accredited and environmentally friendly. Although I'm a "one women band" I always aim to create and sell shop quality products. I support other handmade traders, which means all my prints; packaging is sourced from small local professionals like myself. I finish, pack and post all my products with tender, love and care to ensure the quality assurance. I hope you enjoy my products as much as I love creating them and I hope to see again soon!

Kara Mshinda Arts

Home & Garden, Decor, Office, Paper & Stationery, Notebooks, Miscellaneous, Arts & Crafts
Women Owned
Kara Mshinda is a visual artist and anthropologist whose mixed media art explores consumerism, popular culture, and otherness. Mshinda's work has been exhibited at Rush Arts Philadelphia, Leonard Pearlstein Gallery, Philadelphia Sketch Club, and the 20*20 Gallery. She is a member of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, Philadelphia CollageWorks, and Tiger Strikes Asteroid. I use accessible methods like freehand drawing, collage, and lo-fi photography to develop my visual narratives. My interest in using such methods arises from my anthropological curiosity about the “life cycle” of disposable materials and print media. “What do community newspapers, synthetic hair, photographs, plastic beads, junk mail, gift wrap, torn denim, and flower petals tell me about the role of identity in the process of consumption and disposal?” and “how are the remaining fragments of daily life situated in a lived experience of blackness and queer identity?” are questions that I ask myself when I encounter found objects. My current body of work is a series of amended photographic fashion portraits and collage works called Meta. The themes I explore in this series are about the self-referential and mimetic features of identity and the making of selfhood.

Women Owned, Handmade, Vegan
I began this shop when just one week before my 20th anniversary in advertising sales in corporate America, I left my job. I realized life was too short to be as miserable as I was so I left. Of course mortgage had to still be paid and I knew I wanted to do something more fulfilling, so I set up a handcrafted soap company. While making soap has been incredibly rewarding, it was only the beginning, so as more people began their journey into owning a handcrafted business, I knew soap wasn't my niche, but what I learned in the process, was using the healing powers of herbs and essential oils was, so I began brewing, and mixing and blending, and what began as just soap has now expanded into tinctures, elixirs, salves, body creams and herbal tea. And as my knowledge grows, I create new products with my final vision as being a one stop herbal apothecary to help you reconnect with the healing/cleansing power of nature.

Clean Canvas Creations

Health & Beauty, Bath & Body, Cosmetic, Lip, Home & Garden, Candles, Entertainment & Toys, Books, Office, Paper & Stationery, Notebooks
Women Owned
Clean Canvas Creations was originally created to provide soaps for sensitive skin. Since I was a child I’ve suffered from skin issues and then I passed on my skin sensitivity to my children. After learning how many chemicals were in everyday soap that we use, I decided to make my own because nothing else seemed to alleviate our discomfort. I noticed such a big difference in my skin and my children’s skin. I decided to share my creations with friends and family. After an overwhelming amount of positive responses, I decided to create my own business so that I could help others who suffer from irritating and uncomfortable skin issues. As the company grew, customers asked that I add on more products. We now offer, candles, lip balms, bathbombs and more. This journey has been fun and I look forward to what the future holds for us.
