Welcome to our shop! After years of collective frustration with the lack of gift options that spoke to the black experience, Lyndsey K. and Motisola Z. were inspired to do something about it. Together they founded Midnight Reflections with the goal of providing not only high quality, but also ethnically conscious goods. Midnight Reflections scours the globe for goods that are stylish and relevant in today’s pop culture. Our products are timeless, yet contemporary. Most importantly, each item we carry was specifically created to speak to the unique walk of citizens of African descent. From stylish T-shirts to cute mugs to awesome journals, and much more, we have something for all ages. Come see for yourself. You’ll be amazed at what we have to offer.

I founded Venus Island, with one goal in mind: to provide quality jewellery and carnival accessories inspired by the cultures of Africa & the Caribbean. My love & passion for creativity has meant my pieces have been requested all over the world. Everything I create is made in-house. I use a graphics package to design whatever is it i want to create, in a language my laser cutting machine can understand. Once cut, each piece is hand finished (painted, glossed, beaded, findings attached etc). Et voila ? I offer a custom made service for individuals wanting something unique - just for them. Made the Venus Island way. ? P.S: The name; 'Venus' Island was chosen as it fused my name; 'Vanessa' and the Greek goddess 'Venus' who was known as the Goddess of love and beauty. The 'Island' part was added to represent us as 'Island people'.

Black Paper Party was born out of our love for Black Culture, and the recognition that Black imagery is underrepresented in the paper goods and holiday industry. We are a Black owned, women owned team with over 15 years of retail, design, and illustration experience. Our products are made in the USA.

I’m Samantha, nice to meet you A little about me: I combine my love for fashion and art through illustration and design, specializing in all things custom. I work directly with clients as well as businesses to help bring their visions to life, whether that be through visual story telling, custom projects, or sketching live at an event. Regardless if you’re getting something for your business or a personal piece, I’m bringing 10 years of learning, expertise, and customer service to your project to give you not only something beautiful that you will connect with, but also an amazing experience that is unique to you or your clients. I’m based in Washington DC and New York City and I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Parsons New School for Design where I studied evening wear and couture techniques. My inspiration? Travel! The wanderlust is real and I love exploring the intricacies of new places and cultures around the world. I have a passion for cultural diversity and strive to highlight and celebrate it throughout my work.

Hi and welcome to Colourshot, which uses lovely, colourful African fabric in everyday contemporary ways. Everything is handmade in the UK by myself, Tanya. Colourshot started as a way to indulge my love of making clothes and buying fabric. By running a business, I could enjoy guilt free fabric shopping, and let loose on my creative side. Along the way, I added a jewellery business where I used purchased beads to design jewellery. But the real breakthrough came when I decided to make cards using African fabric. (Which is why my Instagram is called Colourshotcards!) Having started out making cards, I then added jewellery, this time completely handmade, using fabric and wood. Then mugs and coasters, which were and still are a major hit. Ideas kept on flowing (thank you God), and over the past 4 years, Colourshot in its current form has steadily developed into a lovely little card and gift shop, providing contemporary and useful gifts for all those who love a touch of African fabric. The clothes and generic jewellery business have had to be retired, to allow me to maintain my focus on cards and gifts

Tea to a Flame was started in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic. After spending so much time inside with little to no distractions, I acquired an urge to tap into my true sense of self. We strongly believe that everyone has the ability to connect with their selves and it all starts with our connection to our 5 senses. Sensory stimulation is the most fundamental way to cultivate any sensation you wish to feel.

Light On My Path was founded by a mother-daughter duo who share a passion to spread the word of God. We are a company whose main mission is to make a positive difference in other people's lives through Christ.
