My name is Aprill Lacey I’m a artisan, make up artist and founder of Pin Up Cosmetics. I wear many hats but my greatest achievement is being a Mother to a wonderful son.The idea of Pin Up Cosmetics started in the late 90’s when my son was in kindergarten. As a single Mother at the time I had been working as a retail manager for a high end cosmetic company.My skin was at it’s worst because of the toxic chemicals in their products.I began my search for natural beauty products that were truly natural and suitable for my skin tone. At the time I couldn’t find a product that suited my needs. After much research I started crafting lip care and mineral make up out of my kitchen which turned into Avril Cosmetics. Avril was sold at vintage boutique clothing stores in San Francisco and in Berkeley, CA. I took time off from building the Avril brand to focus on raising my son. In 2007 I reinvented Avril under the name Pin Up Cosmetics. Continuing my love of artisan natural and vegan beauty products while adding my twist of retro glamour. Today Pin Up is available in health food stores, boutiques, salons and specialty stores in the US and Overseas.

Clean Canvas Creations was originally created to provide soaps for sensitive skin. Since I was a child I’ve suffered from skin issues and then I passed on my skin sensitivity to my children. After learning how many chemicals were in everyday soap that we use, I decided to make my own because nothing else seemed to alleviate our discomfort. I noticed such a big difference in my skin and my children’s skin. I decided to share my creations with friends and family. After an overwhelming amount of positive responses, I decided to create my own business so that I could help others who suffer from irritating and uncomfortable skin issues. As the company grew, customers asked that I add on more products. We now offer, candles, lip balms, bathbombs and more. This journey has been fun and I look forward to what the future holds for us.

Jasmyn is the visionary and CEO behind Jay're Naturals. The name "Jay're", pronounced 'juh-ray', was Jasmyn's middle name before it was changed. The name "Jay're" isn't just a unique name; it's a brand, and it's a lifestyle. Jay're Naturals encourages you to "Look Good, Feel Good, Do Better, and Be Great." Jay're Naturals is committed to creating high quality, handmade units, as well as luxurious hair, bath, and body cosmetics. Every detail that goes into assembling these products are carefully handpicked and customized to suit the consumers' needs. From a DIY Budget Friendly Project to a Thriving Family Business Gifts From Nature became a full time adventure in January 2016 when I lost my job of 14 years. It was a scary time, and it's certainly not easy, but I'm happy to be in this challenging new phase of growth in my life. I began making soap in 2010 in an effort to cut household expenses, and it quickly became an addiction! Before I knew it, I had TONS of soap (years worth), and was running out of storage space for it. So, I started giving it away to family and friends who fell in love with it and asked for more! While thinking of a name for my company, I remembered that I'd started putting together a natural body care products company in 1998 called Gifts From Nature. The fledgling company had one product: a facial cleanser made with oatmeal, almonds and milk. Well, life happened, children came, and the business got put on the shelf. Fast forward a few years, and Gifts From Nature is back and better than ever! Our pilot product is now called Mug Scrub and has been improved with the addition of the soothing properties of chamomile, and the antibacterial benefits of lavender.

Dragonfly Lake Scents, LLC was founded in 2012 in my kitchen as a way to help my daughter care for her sensitive skin. As her skin cleared, friends and family would ask, “What products are you using?!” When I told them, I was making my own they were impressed and asked often to buy my soap! I was overjoyed! And a business was born! Five years later, I added a partner (Tenise Monterio). The business has evolved into a line of bath and body products that use ingredients such as local beer and wine, herbs, and raw goats milk that can be found in and around Erie, PA. Olive oil, coconut oil and sustainably sourced and produced palm oil round out the list. Our oils, colorants, fragrance and essential oils come from companies that do business in an honest and ethical manner. Our herbs and flowers come from our own garden!
