I started at 15 years old creating handmade "potions" after being frustrated by the lack of high-quality natural body care, hair care & hair growth aides. I began to notice that my homemade products were giving me better results than any store-bought products I'd tried. It was then that I thought I would try my hand at selling them, and the rest is history!

I started looking into ingredients used for beauty products back in 2015 and realized how much chemicals we use on a daily basis. I then started DIYing most of my products starting from soaps and hair oils. I initially shared them with people around me, especially my YouTube audience who encouraged me to make them at a bigger scale. Fast forward, today I make all natural hair and skin care products that will help you attain and emphasize your outer beauty. I have hair growth oils, handmade face and body soaps, moisturizers, serums that will help you fight acne, hyperpigmentation and all the unwanted skin problems with sorely natural ingredients. Bourn Beautiful Naturals is a black-owned company, named after a brook in the West Midlands, UK. The ethos of Bourn Beautiful Naturals is all about maintaining hair and skin's optimal moisture balance in formulas that are both effective and feel luxurious. We achieve that mainly through vegan and vegetarian ingredients. Everything I sell, I use. I put my love into each product I make and package. Cooking up these recipes is nourishment for my soul and makes me feel like I’m contributing something good to the world. There’s so much pain and stress in the world. I want people to feel good when they use my products.We use only the ingredients that are going to work for you, not just for our labels.

Which is why we have spent the last two years researching and developing a line of products that will help solve many of the hair and skin care challenges faced by men with afro hair and skin. We have ensured that our products contain only the very best in quality natural ingredients that work. Black Seed Oil and Mango Butter are rich in much needed nutrients and can be found in all our products. We originally launched in 2016 from the Shear and Shine Barbershop in South London. During his time as a barber, Aaron saw first hand the challenges faced by his clientele when it came to having access to good quality products that would solve their hair and skin care problems. As a black man, Aaron could personally relate to their frustrations and decided to do something about it. We sat down with various black men and asked key questions that would allow us to form a deeper and more complex understanding of what black men actually need. We spent the next two years working alongside formulation experts and manufacturers to develop and test products that would actually work to improve afro hair and skin, without the use of any toxic ingredients. Our key ingredients of Black Seed Oil and Mango Butter are rich in much needed nutrients that work to combat dryness, reduce breakage, protect against environmentally caused damage and encourage healthier hair growth.

The essence of what makes everything purposeful is emotion. My online store and I have big dreams and we thank you for contributing to that dream. As we know dreams manifest themselves, but first you have to be willing to get rid of issues that sometimes aren't issues. Brown Butter Beauty is an artisan small-batch beauty lifestyle brand based in Brooklyn New York. The products are inspired by my deeply rooted love of nature and plant life. My herbal infused plant based self-care collection includes hair, body and skin care products. I use natural oils, roots, clays, botanicals, essential oils and safe fragrances sourced from around the world to create effective unique products with a spa feel. Making women feel beautiful and confident is my passion. When women feel good about themselves they can do anything. I learned first hand that while striving and pursuing a successful career. You have to take time for yourself to re-coop, relax, de-stress and beautify yourself for a healthy balanced life. I started making hair and skincare products while working full time as a photographer. I shared my creations with family and friends and eventually started to sell my products at local craft fairs. In 2007, I started selling online and received so much great feedback that I decided to expand my product line. Ingredients inspire me. I love researching new exotic natural oils from around the world and the benefits it has for the skin and hair. I'm passionate about creating products that involve as many of the senses as possible. Not only must the product be effective, but as an artist, I think about color, texture and smell of each product. For Spring & Summer, I love infusing oils with organic herbs and flowers like calendula, jasmine, nettle, chamomile and rose. It's my goal to create natural clean formulations but I'm not a purist. I have established guidelines that carefully limits the amounts and manner in which fragrances are used in my products. I only use fragrances at concentrations and conditions which have been shown to be safe according to the safety data sheets supplied by the ingredient manufactures. My products range from 90% - 100% naturally derived ingredients. I don't use paraben preservatives of any kind. Many of my products contain a natural preservative system that is lab tested for efficiency. All ingredients and products are cruelty free. I do not test our finished products on animals. I also only purchase from ingredient suppliers who do not test on animals.
