Rachelle Baker is a multi-disciplinary artist from Detroit, MI with a background in Relief Printing (Screenprinting, Lino/Woodcutting), Illustration, Comic Art, Video Art, and Music. She is inspired by Shoujo manga, anime and comics bad girls, stoic women dancing in the backgrounds of late 90's/early 2000's R&B videos, and the sound cats make when they're yawning. She is a Capricorn with a Scorpio moon. Something amazing can come from nothing...ArcherHomeDesigns was born from a desire to create a beautiful home while facing the reality of a limited budget. For the first few years of our marriage we rented furnished apartments. When we signed the closing papers on our first home, we had nothing but the keys, our clothes, and an empty house. When we thought that our small bank balance was going to be a disadvantage, to our surprise, it became a huge gift. We completely remodeled our kitchen for under $300, we delved into the world of thrift shopping, found our knack for refurbishing discarded pieces, and then we discovered that we could also make furniture for our home. What was a necessary effort to furnish our home gave birth to a passion for designing rustic, wood-made home decor pieces. Family comes first and a beautiful home sets the tone for beautiful relationships, and it is our hope to share what we do with you while enjoying our passion of also creating beautiful decor pieces for your home. My name is Zoe (pronounced Zo-ee). The shop name is Teeland of + 'my name spelled backwards'. Like a lot of people, I opened this shop with the hopes of generating a second income while staying safe inside during this interesting time. In addition, this has been a great outlet to release my creative energy. Sammie & Dannie is a family owned vintage boutique in Phoenix offering clothing, accessories, furniture, and home goods. We’re known for having timeless pieces all handpicked by us! Whether you’re looking to be sophisticated or to dress yourself down, we got you covered. We even have furniture too! Our name comes from us, sisters sharing clothes. Growing up with a single mom, we shared a lot of clothes and often shopped second hand. As we got older our mother taught us about sustainability and fashion. Rather than throwing clothing into a landfill, garments can be recycled, repaired, reused or redesigned. We value sustainable fashion and sisterhood! The phrase “it takes a village” came in full effect growing up with a single parent. There are so many women that supported us along the way, we consider these women our sisters. Sammie and Dannie wouldn’t be where it is today without the help of others. So while educating and encouraging people about sustainable fashion, we also hope to be outlet for women. xN Studio is a lifestyle. Without borders. Founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2011 by DC-area native Nasozi Kakembo, our multi-disciplinary creative studio resides at the intersection of classic and modern, East and West, innovative and subdued. We express our ethos in how we adorn our sacred spaces, whether those be our homes, our workspaces, or elsewhere. Traditional and timeworn textiles and techniques are the foundation of all of our collections, and from there, we modify the applications and functions to suit a modern and borderless lifestyle. Our furniture and approach to design is intended to suit multiple purposes—our aesthetic signals a practical departure from the expected. The mudcloth and indigo pillows, and Fair Trade collections from Uganda have grown to become the keystone of our work. All of our work is proudly made on the east coast of the United States or in Africa, primarily Uganda where we work work traditional artisans to develop products for e-commerce, wholesale and interior design projects. Nasozi Kakembo is the founder and creative force behind xN Studio. She graduated in 2008 from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP). Her company name derives from her very own, which is a Ugandan name meaning something to look up to in praise of. Born and raised outside of Washington, DC, and a Brooklynite for 12 years Nasozi founded xN Studio in 2011. For the greater part of a decade, she worked in the international human rights and social justice fields, meanwhile indulging in African textiles by night. She still incorporates the fundamental principles of her extensive international experience into her business model. Her Ugandan and American heritage as well as her studies in art history, architecture, and eventually human rights have landed her in the far reaches of the world. She currently resides in the DC-Baltimore area and splits her time between there, Brooklyn, and her home in Kampala, Uganda.

Llane Alexis is a multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco, CA. Originally from Havana, Cuba, he began his artistic career as a painter in 1997. Llane's unadulterated approach and enterprise with found materials are informed by his formative experience. His concerns about fashion industry wastefulness ultimately precipitated a shift towards working primarily with textiles. Llane's process combines braiding, weaving, and hand-stitching techniques, which he uses for transforming off-cut, unwanted fabric scraps into functional goods and art objects. He also preserves our relics and "repairs" our rejects (such as damaged furniture) as part of his ongoing studio practice, and on commission. His work has been commissioned by private collectors and presented in solo and group exhibitions around the world. Llane welcomes proposals for collaboration from artists, designers, and brands.
