How We Started. It all started in 2006 when our Founder, Kim Overton, went for a run with nowhere to comfortably hold her key. Afterwards she went home and assembled the first SPIbelt. After months of hard work, development, and patenting, SPIbelt officially launched in February of 2007 out of Kim’s Austin, Texas apartment. Now you can find SPIbelt products in over 40 countries. Despite SPIbelts international success, its headquarters remain in Austin, Texas where the majority of our products are still being handmade. Continued Excellence. The SPIbelt was originally created to solve a small problem: “Where am I going to hold this while I run?” Since then we have developed the SPI H2O® Venture Series hydration belt, the Diabetic Insulin Pump Belt, the SPI Messenger Bag, and other innovative products that help solve everyday and lifesaving issues. We won’t stop here. It is also your stories, feedback, and passion that keep us moving forward.

As a Life style Brand , our main goal is to broaden the notion of individuality of our present youth by developing an ideal that has been suppressed by constant conformity. Our brand gives our consumer a sense of empowerment to conquer every endeavor that may lie ahead. We envision moving beyond the scope of producing clothing, by creating a movement amongst our peers by positioning the idea that passions can be conquered. My name is Unyime and I started U4UDesigns, operating in Austin, Texas, and we specialize in custom-made African-inspired apparel and fashion accessories for women, men, and children. African-inspired is defined as Westernized clothing made with African-style fabrics and prints by designers and tailors from Africa. I started U4U in 2007, when I was an ambitious entrepreneur from Nigeria, Africa who just wanted to share her culture through her zeal for fashion. First and foremost, I AM so grateful to be MAMA to two wonderful children who motivate me to stay connected to my silly, adventurous & creative side and challenge me to be the best version of myself, every single day. My motto in life is, “Do what you love. Love what you do.” I believe we should all chase after the things that we are passionate about. HAND-DYED AIR-SILK SCARVES. I started dyeing silk scarves ten years ago under the business name Shimmer & Bliss. Dyeing and free-style painting on silk became my favorite medium and sparked so much JOY in my life; however, I had to take a hiatus due to a busy mom life and life-changing circumstances. I didn’t think the silks would circle back around this lifetime, but God had a plan for me. My heart was yearning to share my Art with the world, and my friends kept reminding me that I needed to step out on faith and just do it! So I AM doin’ it! COLOR + BEAUTY + HISTORY. Viva La Silk is inspired by Color, Beauty, History, Culture and Travel. The bold colors are inspired by the vibrancy of my Cuban-Jamaican heritage. My goal is to share my love of Silk and Afro-Caribbean culture through my Art, while being kind to Mother Earth. Hopefully I can bring a little more Love & Light into the world. VERSATILE + ECO-CHIC + EVERYDAY + TRAVEL. All of our designs are hand-dyed, hand painted and hand sewn in small batches in Austin, TX . Our dyes and paints are non-toxic, eco-friendly and made in the USA and a few of my designs are created from repurposed silk. Our customers love our scarves because they are so versatile. They are perfect for travel because they are so light-weight and pack conveniently. They can be worn on the plane, to a nice dinner, at a resort and around town. Atelier New Regime is a streetwear label created and headquartered in Montreal. In 2009, it began as a passion project and outlet for self-expression. Produced in in-season small batch quantities, PRETTY DENIM focusses on creating timeless pieces that work together to create a united wardrobe. Founded by Stylist Tahnee Lloyd-Smith, each piece is designed with an astute awareness of the urban woman. Distinct silhouettes and quality of craftsmanship are the pillars of the brand. In the sophomore release we work exclusively with Brushed Bull Denim, which is as soft as cashmere but tough enough for everyday wear. PRETTY DENIM takes the durability of traditional denim and pairs it with timeless tailoring.

Inspired by modernity, movement, and old-world beauty, I explore structured silhouettes and organic forms to create ornaments intended for today, tomorrow, and beyond. Working with goldsmiths, local vendors, and trusted dealers to source materials from around the globe ethically, I create each thoughtfully designed piece with a sense of style and purpose as unique and individual as the people who acquire them.
