digitalKENTE combines modern craft and ancestral patterns to create one-of-a-kind surface designs for people as vibrant as their color choices. We use the power of graphic design to re-mix indigenous textiles from melanin-rich cultures around the world. Our bold digital tapestries are multi-dimensional, culturally aware, and unapologetically colorful. Inside www.digitalkenteshop.com we have a select set of prints that we apply to seasonal products created for your day-to-day city life or your international adventures. Printed on high quality fabric, our scarves can be easily folded and fit inside a purse or travel bag. Leggings are for your fashion forward workout or to complete your eclectic ensemble for going out. digitalKENTE textiles are for the woman who is not afraid of commanding attention. Tiana Denine Harris launched digitalKENTE in 2012 through the www.see.me exhibit titled "Art Takes Times Square" in New York City. After living in Southeast Asia for two years and being amazed by the vastness of dark skin in this region, Tiana began to explore the juxtaposition of colors and shapes found in indigenous hand-made textiles. Inspired by the creativity of people of color through out the world, Tiana began to re-imagine West African textile patterns to create a new kind of kente: a digitalKENTE. Now, the brand is poised to create more unique surface designs printed on functional fashionable products. We would also like to collaborate with you! To inquire on how we can work together to create refreshing surface designs and products please visit us at digitalkente.com or send a note to info@digitalkente.com.

I am a London based illustrator and maker working in a variety of mediums. I am a kitsch enthusiast, lover of colour and collector of Bric-A-Brac. My work is often inspired by the objects I like to surround myself with - the kinds of things we place on a shelf or mantelpiece that make us happy. I like to create things that are both vaguely familiar and yet unlike anything else. I am represented by Snyder New York both here in the UK and over in the US.

Here you’ll find a bespoke collection of handmade polymer clay earrings that are modern, architectural, lightweight and minimalistic. These earrings will make you feel a little bit cooler, a bit more put together, balanced and calm. For those who embrace the minimalist aesthetic some days, want to be bold on other days, and perhaps just last week wore all the colors, textures and cuts available, you’ll find something you admire here. The hand-crafted earrings twist and dangle with each step, but won’t make a sound and are light enough that you may forget they’re on. I call it ear art. Make a statement with everything you wear. My creations are itinerant: worn to work, the airport, a wedding, the classroom, a night out with friends, the neighborhood dive, a date, a high school reunion, and an upscale whiskey bar. A pair of handmade earrings are a great way to elevate your outfit. They’ll only enhance the wonderful person that you already are. Each pair is crafted by hand and will vary uniquely. Treat earrings with care and avoid getting them wet, leaving in direct sunlight, and throwing them, for they'll break. Earrings come in a variety of styles i.e. clip-ons and brass backings. Thank you for visiting my shop. Please enjoy these handmade earrings and let me know if you have questions!

I’m an illustrator + visual artist born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I’m currently based in Los Angeles but plotting my return home soon. I use illustration and visual art as a tool to strengthen social movements for racial justice, immigrant justice, climate justice, mental health and LGBTQIA+ liberation. I think that in order to tear down harmful systems, we need to be able to envision a world without them. I’m trying to draw what that world looks like.
