Maddi and Joan, named after my daughter and grandmother respectively, was established in 2019. A company that was born from pulling myself out of a rough separation and divorce. Creating decor started as a creative outlet. A way for me to reinvent a space that I could call my own. Eventually, it grew into sharing this with other women who are creating a space for themselves, their families, etc. Our mission: providing you with home decor to help you create a boho oasis in your home. Our urban boho vibe- natural, lived in, with a little edge. Our fuel: This female owned brand is backed by the forever strength from a grandmother and the hope and love for a daughter. Along with the strength and love of amazing women around me. Just one reason why our brand stands behind the mindset of supporting and cheering on young girls, women and female entrepreneurs. Our superpower: working with jute! Manipulating the rope into something that feels lived and natural is our vibe. Tori's Creative Treasures started with nothing but a passion to personalize gifts and see the smiles of its recipients. Tori has always enjoyed making handmade gifts, ranging from party favors to birthday money boxes. For her 29th birthday, she was gifted a device that took gift personalizing to another level. Though her original plan was to craft as a hobby, her peers saw potential in her that she didn't see in herself, and wanted to pay for her passion. I am a Safety Professional and I absolutely love my occupation. Keeping people safe is another passion of mine outside of creating beautiful crafts. Luis works in the Supply Chain world. He is the production and shipping manager which means he cuts all of the wood, and handles the shipping aspect of our business. Luis converted our garage into a workstation/warehouse and transformed our office into a beautiful craft room! He’s meticulous and organized . I’m blessed to have such an amazing and talented life partner. ? Creating these beautiful crafts is such a positive outlet for us. I’ve always been creative and I’m so grateful and honored that people allow us to create items that will bring happiness and warm memories. ? A little about me... since I have never formally introduced myself. I am Aleighsha Mitchell. I live in Maryland...the DMV area (Hail to the Redskins...sometimes lol). I am a professional dancer(in my head) and I am a real homebody (that’s where I do most of my dance performances lol). I love everything African and cheetah print. I am obsessed with all serial killer documentaries and rom-coms...go figure. I learned I could paint by accident...sorta. I had been in a really bad place in my life. Mentally, Spiritually, Financially and add any other negative “lly’s”... I was it. I asked God to reveal my gift, whatever it was. I just needed something to help take care of me. I went to visit family three years ago, and out of boredom, I was offered paint and a canvas to pass the time and this is what I came up with. I was so proud. I had never thought about painting. This is what I asked for...just didn’t know yet. So, I went home and showed my family and they encouraged me to keep going. They bought me paint, brushes, canvas and snacks...you need those for all-nighters lol. I asked God before I create anything to use me in His name, as I do with everything, and I went to work. Night after night, no shower (Eww..I know), no sleep...I couldn’t stop. I had painted so much that no longer had anywhere else to hang anything. So I stepped out on faith and decided to share one online.

I am lucky enough to have four amazing stepkids, but I have always wanted to be a mother. My husband and I are excited to be starting the adoption process! This shop was started as a way to bring in some extra money to help with the cost of adopting. And 100% of every sale will go towards our adoption fund. Hello everyone!!! My name is Dee. I am a nurse and work in a hospital. I am honored to combine my technical skills and compassion to care and offer support to people during a scary time in their lives. I started designing and creating what I call smile makers as a stress reliever to my hectic but rewarding nursing career. I also recognized that whenever I look at my adult children's personalized baby pillow case and blanket I always get a big smile on my face. I remember when I hung the pillow case in the nursery. I remember when I wrapped them in the personalized blanket. I want you to be transported years from now and remember your little one's whenever you look at your baby keepsake stuffed animal or blanket. I'm a nurse by day and a smile maker all the time :) What started as a stress reliever has morphed into an opportunity to make people happy with my products. So now I want to spread the love and help you relish the memories.

COVID-19 struck and I was temporarily laid off from my job and a graphic designer. Although I was called back a few months later, that experience was another reminder that only what you owned was truly yours. The months we stayed sheltered at home due to the lock down was a time for deep reflection. Like so many others around world, my home became my fortress and I had a desire to make the world beautiful, but it would first find an outward expression from my home. My home needed to speak my truth, it had to be a reflection of who I was, to tell my story, that was how the idea of Ulli Home was conceived. My designs are largely influenced by my expressive Nigerian culture and I have laid my heart and soul into each of these designs. Own your beauty and spread it to the world.

We both met through Logan's brother's (now) fiancee in 2016 and have been inseparable. Maria had a passion for growing indoor succulents, which then morphed into all types of plants over the years. Logan has been woodworking since he was 8 years old. His skills were passed down through a family owned and operated business, which is now in its second generation. We started creating 'prototypes' for planters about two years ago. There was a lot of trial and error until we finally were able to create a durable, versatile and water resistant planter. Each planter has variations in the tonality of the wood that make each of them unique. Each one also encompasses a piece of the nature and beauty of the outside world. We are most inspired by the (obvious) nature around us, traveling to unknown places and the culture created by people that enjoy being a little different than all the rest.
