Hey y’all! We’re Southern Hospitality. We are a two person team consisting of Krystle Ford (my business-savvy belle) along with myself, Quinton Yeldell (the southern podiatrist). We are a handmade, natural line of skincare that we describe as being foot-focused, but great for the entire body. Why the FEET as a focus for skin care? The idea began years ago while I was in podiatry school. We would administer moisturizing creams to patients (often diabetics). While the creams we used worked well, I couldn’t help but to notice the not-so-good ingredients. So I thought what if I could create a moisturizer that did wonders for the skin, while also having non-toxic ingredients. Through LOTS of research our cream was created, inspired an entire line, and (in 2013) Southern Hospitality was born. Welcome to our maker page!

My name is Tope Adubi, the founder of Kilali Cosmetics. Kilali Cosmetics was launched in the US in February 2020 with a goal is to create inclusive quality makeup while infusing the knowledge of Africa and sharing the beauty that lies within the different 54 countries on the continent.
I recognize the existing gap in the beauty industry and realize more hands need to be on deck to bridge this gap in an affordable and effective manner by providing makeup for the underserved in the industry. This is my inspiration behind this business.
A key thing that makes us stand out in our business is the platform to enlighten our customers about Africa. We take this to heart by ensuring the ingredients used, our product names tie back to Africa.
My core strength is in Digital Marketing. I worked at Africa's largest organization for empowering African entrepreneurs, Tony Elumelu Foundation, where I had the core responsibility of managing the online presence for the brand across social media, email marketing, website management, graphics design and digital media ads.
In addition to my digital marketing skill, I possess leadership skills that have helped me through the launch of my business from working with different contract staff at different stages through product development, sales and marketing.
