As a Visual Artist and student of Japanese Language and Culture, I became more and more immersed in the artistic communication of anime, manga, and videogames that I'd enjoyed since childhood. Combining such inspirations with my interests in photography, design, and crafting, I decided to take my hobby of dreaming up creations with these aesthetics to the next level!" I started this Etsy page originally selling my paintings. Over the course of two years that passion transform into another, jewelry making. I find the process extremely relaxing. Knowing that doing what I love gives me the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of others creates an immense amount of bliss for me!

Loving the Journey is a lifestyle brand and shop for Black womxn that are doing the intentional work to love the lives they live–personally and spiritually. I believe this work goes hand-in-hand with one another and begins when we focus on the present moment and work on the necessary healing to live liberated lives NOW. I originally started this community to uplift folks of all backgrounds who needed inspiration by sending out daily affirmations, but I quickly realized who I am here to serve: Black womxn. I love Black womxn. All of us. And I want to uplift us, as a collective, to reach our potential and keep going. The main foci for the Loving The Journey business are empowering Black womxn to take control of their lives and get crystal clear on where they’re headed by teaching Black womxn how to prioritize their healing/spiritual journey. I do this work by offering liberation coaching and creating an online healing community specifically for Black womxn. This business began within me–during my own journey back to self where I had to learn to love myself in a way I had never before. I want to share what I’ve learned along the way and help you to fully and joyfully love your journey.

My name is Tiana and I recently started creating clutch-like bags after my sister/friend asked me to make her a clutch. I was making baby carrier/wraps to order for moms to be prior to making clutches. My Father is a fashion designer. As a child I watched him create amazing things from scratch with a needle, thread, 2 sewing machines, and an overlock. I used to play around with his scraps and play with his machines when he wasn’t looking. He never really sat me down for lessons but I was passively learning techniques that eventually became something great!! My Father is my real inspiration and while I am not nearly as talented as he is...I am slowly working my way through the purse game. I am having so much fun creating these bags and I have received so much love, support, and signs from the universe that I’ve decided to keep making them. My name is Tesa Long and I am a dedicated member or the Northeast Dallas Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. I am also an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I love wearing my Sorority paraphernalia but noticed there was a limited amount of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. paraphernalia that I was looking to add to my collection. After some serious talks with myself I decided to start designing and working my "Black Girl Magic" and entrepreneurial spirit.
