All products are based on a concept that adapts from season to season. Manufacturing is based in Toronto with the core value of the brand in mind to reflect quality, fit and inventive thinking. The result is to be a canvas, painted with current times displaying art on the body through streetwear.

Rhowan James, a Toronto native-born to Jamaican parents who immigrated to Canada, showed him the meaning of hard work and how to never give up on his dreams. At a young age, he developed a passion for fashion and a desire to customize and accessorize clothing, to fit his own taste. Rhowan grew up watching his father getting ready for church every Sunday morning. Intrigued by his father’s sense of style, it taught him how to take pride in his own personal appearance when presenting himself to the world. Without any formal training in fashion, he knew that teaching himself this artistic craft would be a challenge. However, with sheer determination, pure passion, and drive, he learned everything about the process of designing clothes by reverse engineering them. He taught himself how to design, construct, cut and sew his own patterns and fabrics. He started creating his own designs that reflected his own personal interests, as inspired by various trips taken abroad, he soon envisioned what he wanted in a menswear brand. In 2017, he knew that it was time to launch his self-entitled menswear brand, Rhowan James. His endeavour is to give a fresh point of view for menswear. His goal is to become a leading international fashion brand. In 2018 Rhowan was nominated for Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (*TOM) Emerging Menswear Designer Award. Showing his first black and gold collection with 10 looks, he won the award and was the last winner of this award in *TOM history.

Rosemarie Sutherland is Canadian made. The brand Rosemarie Sutherland is Canadian based company, that is manufactured in Brampton Ontario, the fabrics and notions are all made in North America, The fabrics are hand picked yearly to ensure style and superior quality 100% preshrunk cotton designer prints. After construction each piece is hand checked, for quality and durability.

Our name, which means “sibling” in the Wolof dialect of Senegal, is a homage to both our sisterhood, and our shared Senegalese and French-Canadian heritage. SAMA RAKK is a kaleidoscopic accessories brand, we propose eye-catching, experimental and unexpected earring designs in limited quantities. As members of the African Diaspora, LGTBQIA2S+ and BIPOC Communities, we proudly stand against any discrimination, promoting a sense of belonging and inclusivity as people and as a brand. Senegalese culture expresses itself using bright, vibrant, and festive colours throughout its clothing and accessories. It is a celebratory style of fashion that is steeped in tradition. With SAMA RAKK, we wanted to join the party and create an accessory that would capture the bold, and vivid colourfulness we know and love. We are a new company, but our brand and ethos has been growing since childhood. We create jewelry that we want to wear and that allows each wearer to be unique. All our products are designed, created, and assembled by us in Montreal and Winnipeg, Canada.

Shernett Swaby is a Fashion Artist who was born in Jamaica, grew up in Canada and is now based in Chicago. She started sewing at age eight, making clothing for her dolls and mending her own. She learned to sew by watching her mother who was a local seamstress. Since then she has been professionally perfecting her craft. Her mission is to use a detailed oriented collection to promote and celebrate individualism in the fashion industry. Swaby’s work is edgy with a wearable artistic flair. Her work has been featured in local and international magazines and she was a top 5 finalist on PROJECT RUNWAY, the television series. I am an artisan creating unique handmade fashion accessories. I recognize your individuality and am committed to designing and making accessories that meet your values and unique personal style. As a child, I spent my time drawing, and making toys from found materials. This creativity led me to pursue a degree in architecture, and to discover an interest and talent in designing and making solid wood furniture. This passion led me to New York City where I was fortunate to work with notable furniture and product designers. While living in Brooklyn, inspired by the creative culture around me, I became intrigued with the possibilities of how my background as a furniture maker could translate into making fashion accessories using wood, leather and metal. I love exploring the ideas in my head by sketching on paper, and I love using the tools in my atelier to give form to these ideas. I see my fashion accessories as pieces of functional sculpture, which are a balance between structure and design. You carry these objects to express your individuality and make a statement to the world. I am dedicated to making objects that you enjoy interacting with and that enrich your life!

Based in Toronto, Canada, Sirani's Fashion was established in 2017 by Fatim Sylla. Fatim Sylla traces her love for African fashion back to her childhood when she used to vacation on the Ivory Coast. With the expansion of Africa globally, Fatim Sylla saw an opportunity to bring a part of her culture to Toronto by designing her own collection inspired by African prints and occidental designs. From then, Fatim Sylla started her journey collaborating with tailors in Africa and Toronto to bring the 1st Sirani's Fashion collection to life. Sirani's Fashion's mission is to bring African fashion into every home in Canada and beyond. With a worldwide customer base, Fatim continues to expand her product offering. Founded in 2018, two brothers possessing the skillset and passion for cut and sew, decided to put their creative talents on display. What seemingly started as an effort to surpass each other’s work, evolved to shape the inception of The Book of Exodus. Creating garments together under one identity became logical, identifying now as thy brother's keeper while willfully displaying the labor of our hands. Through thoughtful designs and continuous efforts, we aim to achieve a cohesive balance between pre-eminent and high-end fashion and attain a community of like-minded people who regard craftsmanship.

I’m Chizoba Udeh-Martin, and in the spring of 2016, I founded Zoba Martin, a clothing brand that embodies elegance and character. I create a broad range of designs at Zoba Martin, including semi-formal and luxury pieces. My designs are inspired by the architecture, nature and people. Originally from Eastern Nigeria, my journey to Zoba Martin has led me to several Canadian cities. I started out with a degree in Entrepreneurship at the University of Ottawa and then completed a diploma in Fashion Design and Pattern Making at La Salle College of Design in Toronto. I currently live in Toronto and hand make all of my pieces in my private studio. I believe that whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. Therefore, excellence is one principle that guides my work. With Zoba Martin, my challenge to myself is to continue to learn, break glass ceilings and stretch boundaries. My promise to you is that with each project we work on together, you will not only receive excellent customer service but also an excellent product.
