Bio My name is Kem Egwuenu and I started 83 STUDIO in 2017 after having worked with custom clients as well as in the fashion and film industry. The idea was to create a brand for women of all shapes and sizes who care about sustainability and want to express their individuality through what they wear. Everything is handmade in my studio in Toronto, Canada. All fabrics used are sourced locally or online, patterns, sketches and samples are made in studio in limited quantities. My designs are inspired by many things which include nature, the present. The intention of the brand is to place a high value on sustainability and slow fashion processes and make all pieces in limited editions. Each piece is intended to make customers stand out and express their boldness. Our mission 83 Studio's mission as an independent fashion label is to provide sustainable garments for women worldwide. Our goal is to create beauty by using fabric manipulation techniques to eliminate waste and make limited-edition quantities. We create pieces for your lifestyle mixing flowing silhouettes with structured garments for women that want a bold look. All our fabrics are sourced locally.
